The Development of financing of social prevention services for families with children
HRUBEŠOVÁ, Nikola
The aim of my bachelor thesis was to focus on the mapping the development of financing of social prevention services for families with children. The fundamental aspect of the defined aim was to find out how the grant proceeding allocated to the social services was evolved for the families with children. The secondary analysis was used to determine the necessary data. This analysis mainly concerned the data contained in the subsidy proceedings documents of the MPSV ČR, South Bohemia and Central Bohemia. The dates were available for both regions. The processed tables, which form part of my bachelor thesis, point to the financing of social services for families with children in a concrete form. I focused my attention on four organizations in the South Bohemian Region that focus on working with children and families. Subsequently, I also worked with the register of providers of social services of the MPSV ČR. The facilities from this register have been selected and are also included in social prevention services where the services are only provided to families with children. Then I focused on the reception centers for mothers with children, the low-threshold facilities for children and youth and the social activating services for families with children. I also focused my research on the social prevention services for families with children in the Central Bohemia Region. The introductory part of my bachelor thesis is mainly focused on defining terms from the field of the social services and on the characteristics of other essential terms related to the social services. In the next part I focus on the family with children, work with the family, which is threatened by the socially pathogenic phenomena. The following chapters of my bachelor thesis describe some types of the socio-pathological phenomena that may occur in the family, such as truancy in children or the influence of a family that significantly deform children's development. The final part of the thesis is dedicated a more detailed description of the individual tables, where individual organizations of the South Bohemian Region are presented. The closer attention is dedicated to the Central Bohemia Region here.

In the theoretical part I deal with the definitiv of homeless people and with causes and forms of homelessness. I characterize homeless people. Secondly, I focus on unemployment, family and poverty as tho most common causes of homelessness. In the practical part I used the qualitative research strategy where a case is in focus. Life goals of mothers with children in a shelter house.
SKALOVÁ, Pavla
In the bachelor thesis, I tried to identify life goals of mothers living with their children in the emergency shelter. The qualitative research was used conducted by interviewing and a semi-structured interview. The data was further divided into several clusters based on the grouping of the various choices. The aim of thesis is to identify life goals of mothers with children in an emergency shelter. Target file is composed of mothers with children, staying at an emergency shelter in the South Region. To determine the aims best, we must at first uncover the specific causes that led mothers to their choice. In the theoretical part, I dealt with basic concepts associated with the topic, namely the family and its concept, the functional family, a crisis, stress, etc. The research results provide us with a comprehensive overview of the situation of women who dwell in the emergency shelter. They illustrate not only the specific causes of their arrival to the shelter, the topical reasons for their inability to work, but also whether they are trying to somehow solve the situation. The results also describe the values considered by informants to be the most important in their lives, and also how these values influence their choice of life goals. On the basis of the results of the research, the main reasons for the onset of the interviewed women in the emergency shelter were determined, such as a non-existent social network of family and the absence of a stable partner that would help them in a difficult situation. This situation certainly has influence on the choice of their life values which they possess, and which very significantly influence their chosen life goals. The findings that the thesis bring, in my opinion, may help not only social workers and workers in social service of emergency shelters, to better understand the problems of women in crisis situations, but also to improve the quality and progress of interventions with women who come to emergency shelters.
